Supply list for lap quilt (finished size approx. 42" x 54")

• Off-white fabric (borders, blocks)- 1 5/8 yards
• Black print (borders, blocks)- 1/2 yard
• 6-8 assorted fabrics for blocks and appliqué- gold, yellow, red, green, light multicolor stripe, dark multicolor stripe, off-white, beige- fat quarter of each 
• Fabric for binding (non-bias)- 1/2 yard

Supply list for wall hanging (finished size approx. 15" x 25" )

• Off-white fabric (background, blocks)- 1/2 yard
• Gold (top & bottom borders, blocks, appliqué)- fat quarter
• Light yellow print (outer border, blocks, appliqué)- 1/4 yd or fat quarter
• 6-8 assorted fabrics for blocks and appliqué- black, gold, yellow, red, green, light multicolor stripe, dark multicolor stripe, beige (flesh tone)- fat quarter of each or scraps 
• Fabric for binding- 3/8 yard
• Embroidery floss- DMC #470 (green), #3777 (red), #3776 (orange) (Feel free to substitute any colors which complement your fabric choices) 
• Lightweight fusible interfacing- 13" x 18"

Supplies needed for both projects:

• Black embroidery floss, fusible webbing, 6 " embroidery hoop, wash-out embroidery marker, thread for machine appliqué, extra fine black permanent marker such as Pigma Micron 005, basic sewing supplies 
• Backing and Batting
• Optional (but very helpful)- lightbox, fabric glue stick
